These terms cover this website and the customer portal. They are short because there is not much to say: use the site sensibly, keep your account to yourself, and note that the software itself is governed by the Licence Agreement rather than by this page.

These terms apply to your use of this website and the customer portal. Three things are governed elsewhere:
The customer portal signs you in with a code sent to your email address; there is no password to choose or lose. Because access to the portal follows access to your mailbox, keeping that mailbox secure is the thing that keeps your licence keys private.
Tell us at support@barecompare.app if you believe someone else has reached your account. You may close your account at any time; what that does and does not delete is described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the portal, or the accounts of others; do not attempt to disrupt or overload the service; and do not use automated means to request sign-in codes for addresses that are not yours.
Security research is welcome and we would rather hear from you than not. If you find a vulnerability, please report it to security@barecompare.app and give us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing it publicly. We will not pursue anyone who acts in good faith along those lines.
Installers offered here are the official builds. The macOS and Windows builds are signed by
Fruit Salad Tech Pty Ltd and the macOS build is notarized by Apple; the Linux builds cannot
be signed in any equivalent way, so a SHA-256 checksum is published beside each one. If you
obtain Bare Compare from anywhere other than barecompare.app or
dl.barecompare.app, we cannot vouch for what you have.
The content of this site, including the Bare Compare name and logo, belongs to Fruit Salad Tech Pty Ltd. You may quote and link to it normally; you may not present it as your own or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.
We make no promise that the site or portal will be uninterrupted. We may change or withdraw parts of the site without notice. Note that this does not affect software you have already licensed: Bare Compare validates its licence entirely offline, so a site outage — or the site ceasing to exist — does not stop your copy from running.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, whose courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country.
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do.
